Avant les Championnats du monde, la question de savoir si les athl\u00e8tes de Russie\/Bi\u00e9lorussie, qui sont sous le coup d’un boycott, pourront y participer a domin\u00e9. Le myst\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9solu par l’UWW (United World Wrestling) – tous les lutteurs inscrits de Russie participeront aux championnats du monde sous la d\u00e9signation AIN (Authorised Neutral Athletes \/ athl\u00e8tes neutres autoris\u00e9s) ! Il n’y aura donc plus d'\u00a0\u00bbabsents\u00a0\u00bb comme l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que les champions olympiques AIN ne seront pas plac\u00e9s, ce qui signifie qu’ils seront tir\u00e9s au sort et qu’ils pourraient rencontrer des rivaux d\u00e8s le 1er tour. David Taylor (USA) sera donc le seul athl\u00e8te plac\u00e9 dans les comp\u00e9titions. <\/p>\n

La pr\u00e9sence des champions olympiques de l’AIN Sadulaev, Uguev et Zaurbek, ainsi que des champions du monde Mamedov et Magomedov, conf\u00e8re aux comp\u00e9titions de lutte libre un niveau tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 avec des combats spectaculaires. Abdulrashid Sadulaev (RUS) a imm\u00e9diatement adress\u00e9 un message \u00e0 son rival Kyle Snyder (USA) sur Instragram : \u00ab\u00a0Mon ami, je suis pr\u00eat \u00e0 te donner une nouvelle chance de devenir un vrai roi des moins de 97 kg. L’inclusion des athl\u00e8tes de l’AIN conf\u00e8re \u00e0 ce m\u00e9ga-\u00e9v\u00e9nement un pouvoir de starisation accru et souligne la grande importance de ces championnats du monde. Pr\u00e8s de 1 000 lutteurs* se disputeront les 90 places de quota olympique pour Paris 2024, r\u00e9parties \u00e0 parts \u00e9gales entre les trois styles (libre, gr\u00e9co et f\u00e9minin).
